Hello! My name is Bill, and I'm traveling around the US with a sign that says "talk to me" and having conversations with strangers.

I go to park benches, main streets, bars, restaurants, and plenty of other random places, and say hello. Most of the time I just get awkward glances, but some conversations go for hours. You can find some of these stories here.

There is no formal agenda, and it’s any topic goes. I am not a: therapist, political candidate, customer service representative at Walmart, missionary, hostage negotiator, or professional loner (not yet at least).
